Welcome
Momentum is a two-year project to promote and develop dance across West London’s vibrant and varied dance scene, encompassing Classical Indian, Bollywood, Irish Folk, Ballet, Contemporary, Urban Street and other styles, embracing a network of schools, academies, community and youth groups, professional artists and venues. Six London boroughs (Richmond, Brent, Harrow, Ealing, Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham) have launched Momentum to consolidate all these resources and put West London dance on the map.

Momentum Survey
In order to support the development of dance in West London Momentum is working with consultant Catherine Willmore to map existing dance provision in the partner boroughs. We want to find out what space, rehearsal, funding and performance opportunities there are to support dance in the area. We also want to identify which dancers, groups and organisations are resident or working in the partner boroughs.
By filling in this survey you will help us to identify key areas for future support and enable us to advocate for the support and provision of dance in West London.
Big Dance 2008
Big Dance is back on 5-13 July 2008. Big Dance 2008 is a week-long celebration of dance in all its styles and forms and is open to everyone to join in! Make sure the dates are in your diary now. You can sign up for email updates on activities and events at the website

The Seer
We will soon be displaying dance-related artist profiles, events and opportunities held on the Seer here on the Momentum website; so if you promote what you're doing on theSeer, you'll also appear on Momentum!
The Seer is a free online resource enabling creative individuals, organisations, venues, commissioners and bookers across London to promote themselves, share information and find out more about the arts in the capital. The site contains listings, opportunities and news alongside a comprehensive directory of artists of all disciplines.
By registering on the site and adding your profile to the directory, you can promote yourself across London for free and choose what kind of information you wish to receive from the Seer's e-newsletter service.
